I am the owner and operator of Photo DXpeditions.  I have been promoting and marketing travel expeditions to special interest groups since 2003. We  have  been to the Norwegian Arctic -- where our  group experienced Svalbard, "Land of the Ice Bears (2004);"  the Fjords of Southern Chile (2005);  Antarctica, South Georgia and the Falkland Islands (2007); and a 2008 Baltic trip from St. Petersburg to Copenhagen.  In late March and early April 2009 we survived the warm weather from Costa Rica to Barbados via the Panama Canal and visited Colombia, Aruba, Curacao, Venezuela, Grenada, and the Grenadines. And in July 2009 it was back to Svalbard for another glorious adventure in search of Polar Bears, Walrus and thousands of sea birds.  Back home in September 2009 a short trip to Cape Cod rounded out a wonderful year.

I've  worked as an 'independent'  travel consultant and group leader with Lindblad Expeditions (National Geographic) since 2003.

In 2008 I forged a relationship with this fine Expedition Ship and have organized two itineraries to the Norwegian Arctic (July 4 and 14) with wildlife photographer  Steven Kazlowski author of  The Last Polar Bear, Facing the Truth of a Warming World.  Steven told his story of 8 years in the Alaskan Arctic  and coached guests on how to capture their memorable moments.

On many select expeditions, a photography leader will accompany you on your adventure. This  leader will be a respected and published photographer with either professional credentials or National Geographic experience.
